In 2000, Guy became a Police Officer on the Lake County Sheriffs Department in Indiana at the age of 21. Guy primarily worked in the city of Gary as a Patrolman and was assigned to all the aggressive Units or Operations. In 2003 he was re-assigned to the Lake County Drug Task Force (LCTDF) as an Undercover Narcotics Detective until 2005. During his sixteen year career, he worked in other Divisions on Units such as Gangs, SVU, and SWAT becoming the youngest Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Commander on the Department. Unfortunately, his career came to a dramatic end involving the job, politics, corruption, mental health issues, professional manipulation by trusted superiors with along with department counselor, self medication, and self destructive behavior.
